Gun vault Deluxe
I owned the 1st level Gun vault for 15 years gave up the ability to open with the keypad , It was such a good investment and was a gift :-) I upgraded and the template to mount it on my wall was the SAME MEASUREMENTS ....how easy and smooth to install in place of th old one . MORE ROOM , 110Volt plug in back up , 9Volt battery as well 5 STARS Thank you AL Ramsey

Solid Product, mostly meets expectations
Solid box. Seems to open and close well. The mechanism that releases the door is a bit loud. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is a limit to how fast you can enter in the code. Basically, you've got to wait about a half second between button presses. This is wildly infuriating as you will hit the correct combination, but the box will not open because you hit the combination too fast. Then, because you've only partially entered a code, you either have to wait for a reset or mash buttons until a reset is triggered and you can start over. Both of these options are not ideal in as stressful situation. For keeping small children out, this is perfect, if you're expecting to be able to unlock this thing in the middle of the night and use it against an assailant that is already in the room, this is probably not what you seek.

Multivault Deluxe
Works well

Multivault Deluxe still a winner
This is my second Multivault Deluxe. My first one survived about 18 years of coastal climates. This new one has some refinements in the buttons, and the locking mechanism has a more positive release. I also appreciate the new 9volt power vice the old AA batteries. A great and simple device.

G2000D
I received one and the door was bent and hard to close. Reordered and the second one works great. This is the second one I've used, The original one which I replace I bought in 12011 and never had an issue. It this last that long I will be happy

Great gun safe while it functions
Had a MultiVault Deluxe for a good 8 years. One day the door would no longer open without using the key. Finger combination worked fine, but door release was not strong enough to open the door. Attempted to replace the battery but the leads broke off at the battery connector snap. Nice soldering job. Was the second time I ever touched the battery connector. Just bought a replacement unit. Hope the batter snap connection is better this time around for when the door stops opening again in another 8 years. Good safe, Great finger code release when it's working. Wish the internal batter connections were more robust. We'll see this time around.

GV2000D
I bought this unit to replace my GV2000C that had a failed/broken release cable. I'm not sure if the new unit has the same type of release cable, but if it does, I'd suggest going to a linear release actuator mechanism instead. What's really bothersome to me is that you do not provide a replacement mechanism, even for purchase. My old unit is just that; old. So it's lasted quite a while. Still, I'd like to be able to fix it rather than have to replace the entire unit due to a tiny failed cable.
